Roon is named after my daughter, Rooney.
At four, she drew the dinosaur that is our logo. We never redrew it. I have it tattooed on me.
Rooney has a rare autoimmune disease, and no cure. She also lives more in a week than most people manage in a year.
Watching her taught me how fast this goes — and that the days you’d give anything to have back are almost never the ones you thought to photograph. Roon exists to give those days back.
